I bought this as a gift for my nephew 5 years old, who loves to cook. It 'a very active boy, but always enjoys little help to make brownies. I got this for him for his birthday, but was worried that it would be eclipsed by other donations. This was one of his favorite gifts (the favorite being a hat and apron.) Wanted to bring him home and make brownies tonight! Needless to say it was a perfect gift for him. He used several times and each time feels like a big boyhead. I am very happy with this purchase.

My children (5 years of age. - Girl and 8 years. - Male) love these instruments, and I like the way they are contained in a box that contains my children know their cooking utensils. We believe that right under the counter where children have always pulled up a stool to help me cook, and we use it often. (Recently helped make my birthday cake.) Tools are quality items, and most of them are equipped for small hands. My only comment is that there is one or two items that are no different from anything Icollected separately to myself shop.

I purchaced this kit for my 6 years, which is a leader in grass. She loves him so much that whenever I ask him to help me cook, she goes to her office and grabs Paula Deen together to find the right tools it needs. He is learning to measure and how to use each tool properly and it is good that they are all perfectly sized for children. The box is in is also very convenient for the organization. I'd love this set are the recommendations for all children who have an interest in cooking!
